Known for their authentic Vietnamese sandwiches and noodle soups, Saigon Baguette has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. This charming eatery, helmed by the passionate owners Brenda and her husband, is a true representation of a family-run establishment, filled with warmth and dedication.

As you step inside, you are greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly baked baguettes, crafted daily with care. These baguettes form the cornerstone of their menu, especially their remarkable banh mi sandwiches. Each sandwich is an artful combination of flavors and textures, featuring an array of fillings from grilled lemongrass chicken to BBQ beef. Priced around $10, these sandwiches are not just affordable but also generous in portions, ensuring you get the best value for your meal.

  • Banh Mi Special Combination: This favorite features a blend of savory cold cuts enhanced by fresh herbs and pickled vegetables.
  • Grilled Pork Banh Mi: A savory delight, the grilled pork is rich and satisfying, complemented by the crunch of fresh vegetables.
  • Vegetarian Banh Mi: A must-try, showcasing expertly prepared tofu that offers a burst of flavor with every bite.

But that’s not all! Saigon Baguette also offers a diverse selection of noodle soups, including classics like Rare Steak and Brisket Pho and Pho Ga Chicken. Each bowl of pho is a hearty delight, served with a tantalizing broth and paired with fresh ingredients like bean sprouts, scallions, and lime. For just $17.99, you can enjoy the rich and comforting flavors that only authentic Vietnamese cuisine can provide.

The buzz among customers is positive, with many praising the freshness and quality of the ingredients. One enthusiastic diner, Tiffany T., raved, "They have the best banh mi in town!" While another, Noreen B., emphasized, "The baguette is made fresh by hand daily, and you can absolutely tell." The love and care put into each dish is evident in every bite and this aspect distinguishes Saigon Baguette from other eateries.

However, be mindful that their commitment to freshness does come with a catch: once they run out of their freshly baked bread, they close for the day. It’s advisable to arrive early or call ahead to secure your meal!

Thank you fellow yelpers for putting this place on the map! They have the best banh mi in town! We had thit nuong (grilled pork), thit nguoi (cold cuts combo), and thit ga nuong (grilled lemongrass chicken) and we all said it's good! I had the grilled pork, which is lacking the smoky flavor, but it's good because it includes pate! I don't have to ask for them to add it! Woohoo! They're not cheap with their meats, in my opinion. I came here 3x while visiting Las Vegas, and ordered a Bo la lot (beef wrapped in an edible leaf) for later. I heard it's good.

Saigon Baguette has the best banh mi I've ever had in my life. The vegetarian banh mi is absolute perfection. The tofu is some of the best prepared tofu I've had in a sandwich. It is flavorful and the thin slices allow for a burst of flavor. The baguette is made fresh by hand (!!!) daily and you can absolutely tell. The quality of the bread, the freshness of the ingredients, and the portions are all amazing. Just be aware that since they make their bread fresh daily, when they run out of bread for the day--they close. And this place is really popular (for good reason!). The owner Brenda is such a beautiful and kind-hearted soul. You can tell her and her husband run the place with so much love and care. It is a quintessential mom and pop shop. It is a must try if you're in the area (and worth the drive if you're not).

Got a #3 thịt nguội and #5 thịt nướng. Baguette bread itself was fresh and crispy, perfect texture. The flavors inside however I wasn't a fan of. Pate was extra salty but meat and pickled daikon/carrot tasted bland, not enough flavor. Pate chaud - reheated at home later and was good. Service was good, she seemed really sweet and kind. Small shop but clean and bright. Not my favorite bánh mì place but in a pinch, it'll do.

Great family owned establishment serving tasty food that can be enjoyed inside, outdoors, or grab and go. Service is very pleasant and they didn't seem too busy when I placed my order of a grilled pork bahn mi and a lemongrass chicken banh mi with a couple of iced Vietnamese coffees to go. They have other grab and go items available, and their bread is baked fresh daily. Price point is justified with the taste and quality you get in every bite. Definitely worth supporting. Closed on Sunday and Wednesday.

Holy hell. I'm a huge fan already as I've only been here once. This is the real deal. Homemade delicious baguettes, and house pickled vegetables. They are doing it right here as it's until sell out which is about 2pm. The best bahn mi I've ever had and for $12 with a drink? Can't wait to come back.

Early visit, hard to pick. Went with chicken bahn mi. They separated the peppers for us, so we can moderate the heat on one side. Fresh, crunchy bread, with the right mix of ingredients working well. Good work. Family owned business, they take great pride. Support your local mom dad businesses!

Overall: 4.3/5 We came for lunch on a Monday, so it wasn't crowded. The store is small but clean, including the restroom. The lady who helped us was sweet and mentioned that they sometimes run out of banh mi and close early, so she recommended calling ahead and placing an order. The prices are more affordable compared to other Vietnamese restaurants, and the quality is much higher. While it's not quite like San Jose, Saigon Baguette stands out as one of the top banh mi spots in Vegas. What I love most about their banh mi is the baguette. It's baked to perfection--crispy without being hard or cutting your mouth. I also really appreciate that I can taste the pate. #1 Banh Mi Heo Quay/Roasted Pork ($8): Unfortunately, the roasted pork was dry and didn't work well in a banh mi. #2 Banh Mi Thit Ba Chi/Pork Belly ($7): This one was good. The thin cuts of pork belly struck a perfect balance of fat and meat. It was my second favorite. #3 Banh Mi Thit Nguoi/Special Combination ($7): It's okay. Nothing particularly special, but I could really taste the pate on this one. #5 Banh Mi Thit Nuong/Grilled Pork ($7): This was also just okay. The grilled pork on the ends was dry, but the pieces in the middle were covered in sauce so they were more flavorful and moist. This one ranks third for me. #11 Banh Mi Bo Nuong La Lot/Beef in Betal Leaves ($8): This was the best of the five we ordered. While I'm used to the beef being fully wrapped in the leaf, this version had it on the side. The texture reminded me of meatballs, and it was flavorful and delicious.

Best Banh mi i've had yet- they make the bread in house freshly everyday and you can tell. I ordered the combination one as usually it is my favorite and it definitely hit the spot. The bread was very crunchy, warm and tasty as well as the toppings they were all fresh and crunchy! Yum! it is a small family owned type of restaurant but so worth it, the prices are very affordable especially for how filling it is! They also offer "Shrimp and pork rolls" as well as "pork loaf pastry" which honestly was sooo good and i am sad i left with only 1 ): The lady working who took my order was the sweetest and i will definitely be back ! Definitely recommend if you're craving a sandwich or bánh mì
